This class will give you the experience of the healing energy of Reiki, the Universal Life Energy, as it has been passed on and taught in the tradition of Dr. Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, who lived in Hawaii and brought Reiki to the western world, and her granddaughter Phyllis Lei Furumoto, the Lineage Bearer of the teaching today.
Through an initiation ritual your inner healing channels will open again for the flow of life energy. You will learn how to treat yourself and apply the healing powers of Reiki to others as well. Simple and deep at the same time, this class will support you to reconnect with your true self; you will be able to deepen into an inner space of relaxation,presence and meditation.
This class will also introduce a Reiki - Spa treatment that massage therapists may want to offer, and prepare students for the second-degree class, If you have already learned Reiki, you are invited to sit in class again to refresh your Reiki practice.
The second degree, or OKU DEN, deeper knowledge, is availble for students of Reiki who have practiced Reiki for some time and who already have much experience with the hands-on healing experience of Reiki. With Reiki II you will immerse yourself in deeper knowledge of the energy, the use of the second degree symbols and your own personal growth.
It is recommended that you have practiced Reiki on a daily basis for a year before taking second degree.
Children (from the age of seven on) are welcome in every class. They
need to
earn part of the training fee, have their parent's or guardian's
support and be interviewed before class. However, some children may be
more comfortable in a class with other children. It will be the same
first degree class, presented in a format that will be enjoyable for
both the keiki and their parents.
