What Is Reiki?
Reiki is the Japanese phrase for "Universal Life Energy." The Usui System of Reiki Healing is a hands-on healing practice that has been passed on through four generations from Mikao Usui, who lived in Japan at the end of the last century. Reiki is channeled through the practitioner's hands for self-treatment or treatment of others. The result of receiving a Reiki treatment is enhanced health and vitality - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Five precepts for daily living assist in making choices, support health and well-being and can serve as a spiritual guide.
